Cloud telephony — has anyone moved away from traditional PABX? Worth it?

Our current phone system is 12 years old and the maintenance costs are spiralling. I've had demos from Televic, X-on (Surgery Connect), and one other. Costs seem comparable. Interested in real-world experience — call quality, patient feedback, ease of call recording, and whether the promised demand data actually helps you manage capacity.
